Venue

Normally tuition is held at Arthur’s Avenue, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG2 0DZ

However, if this needs to change as a result of the continuing pandemic, we shall contact you and make other arrangements.

Presently, all of the lessons we give in Harrogate take place in the music department at Harrogate Grammar. If you require a lesson during school time (9.00am to 3.30pm) we may be able to organise tuition to take place at a different venue. Where possible we will do all we can to have your lessons take place at a suitable time for you.

The teaching rooms are heated, most have outside windows, they all have visual access to a corridor (so that no teacher or pupil is in a room which is not overlooked in some way, to help protect both the teacher and the pupil.) They are equipped with a Piano or an Electric Keyboard, Music Stands and a mirror. During lessons, Percussionists usually have access to a full Drum Kit and a selection of Orchestral percussion instruments including Timpani, Vibraphone, Glockenspiel, Congas, Bongo’s and various smaller items. In the event of the usual teaching room not being available, we will make every effort to move the necessary equipment to another suitable room. There are also toilets close by too.
