About Harrogate Music School
The Music School was founded in 1991 with the sole aim being to supplement the tuition already available from North Yorkshire’s peripatetic music service by providing quality individual tuition to pupils at the Grammar School in Harrogate outside of the usual school hours. A lot of pupils (and their parents) appreciate the option of having their music lessons made available at times when it does not require them to miss school lessons.
We are a music school offering private music lessons at the Harrogate Grammar School on a wide variety of instruments.

During the last 14 years a large number of pupils have used this service and we are now in the position to offer a larger choice of instrument tuition to adults and children alike. The service is now used by schoolchildren and adults from all over Harrogate and surrounding districts.
More and more adults are now making use of our facilities.
